Coming Soon! Sneak Peek!

So what kind of people take a perfectly fine living room wall and tear it down for no good reason?
Who rips out their pretty mantle and covers their home in dust and debris?
Let me tell you- people who are addicted to projects.
Namely an artist and a home designer. Dangerous combination.
We can never say "that is nice. Let's leave it alone."

Our conversations go something like this:
Have you seen those new glass tiles?
-Corregated or marble integrated?
Ooh, I never thought about marble.
-Do you think the bathroom...
The back wall or front?
Seriously cool.
-Where's the hammer?

We really shouldn't egg each other on like this.
But I have to go because we are visiting a gas fireplace store.
I didn't even know they had those.
I know.
We'll stop tomorrow.
Is there a 12 step program for renovators?

  1. I think you guys have too much time on your hands! Maybe your kids don't keep you busy enough? ;)

  2. It's either too much time or too much money...or both...I could use some help with my kids, if yours don't keep you busy enough, and Brad has enough loans from school to kill a horse, so I could use the extra $$ too. Good luck with the project!

  3. Don't you want to come do my fireplace wall when you are done with yours? It's been on my "to tear down and re-do" list for a long long time... I guess that's where it will stay too. Oh well - I'm excited to see what you have in store for us. :-)

  4. What did you do with that beautiful mantle?...not that the finished product isn't beautiful.

  5. We kept the mantle intact and are going to put it on craigslist so someone else can enjoy it. :)
